The 105 Capitulators

He is the only member of the Long Island Delegation who did not support his capitulation.

Steve Israel.

I amde a point of calling his office today to thank him and called some friends to encourage them to so the same.

I so wanted to vote him out in a Primary, but the Powers that Be didn't allow a Primary opponent. They wanted to hold their worthless majority.

Watch the money rolling in

All the money raised will go to fund accountability for congressmembers supporting retroactive immunity and warrantless wiretaps.

14. You know what makes this so hard? Is knowing the asshole republicans that they replaced.
I don't know what's worse.

Before we had this psycho -

JD Hayworth - repuke on steriods -
and were so excited when we replaced him with a nice, retired High School teacher - a Dem - Harry Mitchell - who turns around and votes for immunity for the telecoms.

What is worse?
The nutcase or the Dem?
I don't know anymore :(

I had forgotten. We have to make an exception here. Hayworth = DEFINITELY WORSE!!!!!

I am so glad to not have to see or listen to that goon anymore. He was such a smarmy fuck. And he had this 2nd rate RW radio jock shtick that was just nauseating. Like the illegitimate love child of Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.

18. Well, well, well. My Congresscritter name's on the list but
doesn't surprise me. Dan Lipinski is a DINO but we can't seem to get rid of him. Last February he made sure he split the votes once again in the 3rd IL so the real Democrat Mark Pera couldn't win.
He disgusts me.

I'm surprised too Luis Guttierez voted for this abdomination. I thought he had more sense, but I guess not.

24. there needs to be more...
it is so odd that in the internet age where communication is so easy, so many of us are still unaware of what our government is doing on a daily basis. I am fortunate that my reps tend to vote in the interests of the people, but at the same time I feel all the more powerless.

28. You guys need to go to these hawkish districts and CHAIN people's conception of "Blue Dog" to this.
"Blue Dog" = "authoritarian anti-privacy insiderism."

"New Democrat" = "neoliberal big business corporatocrat."

Make sure "conservative" and liberal and independents
in these red districts understand what these people stand for.

The only way to fight is to move the Overton window left.

Get out in front of the American people in right-wing
districts and expose the lies that these center-right
Dems are "pro-freedom." Explain how only a swing to the
left will protect them from Congressional and neocon overreaching.
