Subject: Not A Thin Dime

I've been a recipient of your numerous PAC For A Change emails for quite some time. I figured the least I could do was to favor you with a single email from myself. I wished to inform you that I will not contribute one thin dime to your PAC in the event it finds its way into Mark Udall's (CO) coffers. I see he is on the short list of your "Choose A Challenger" contest and I am simply enraged by his vote today (yea on the FISA Amendments Act of 2008) to grant retroactive immunity to the telecom companies who have illegally violated FISA at the request of the President . This outrageous grant of immunity was not able to make it through a Republican-controlled Congress...it was only made possible by the likes of Steny Hoyer and Nancy Pelosi. Accordingly, I fail to see the value of a Democratic majority in Congress.

This is, quite simply, the proverbial last straw. I will be removing myself from your PAC's mailing list immediately and advise my politically active friends to do the same. As a California resident, I will also be watching your actions very carefully when this odious bill makes it to the Senate. I expect a stronger response from you than simply voting nay.

I have a high regard for Barbara Boxer, but somehow I don't see her leading a filibuster against this.
