Well it finally has come to this.
I used to be more active in politics but after becoming disappointed in how our local Democrats have been complicit with the Republicans I stopped going to meetings and participating very much. Now I'm sure I will be registering as an independent after the November election. I have donated in the past but no more. It has been taken out of my hands. Any discretionary income that I had that I could have donated is now going into my gas tank. I will come back into the fold in the future when our elected Democrats start going back to their roots as the party of the common person and working class.

1. When we stay registered as Democrats after they abuse us, we are complicit in our abuse
It doesn't mean we aren't free to vote for the occasionally stomachable Democratic candidate in a general election.

But we don't need to puff up their party roll call sheets if they are going to keep shitting on us again and again and again...

2. My point exactly.
I will still be voting mostly Democratic and for liberal issues.

3. There is no place else to go
They know this.

They also know that they've successfully convinced 99% of the population that they're Trying Really Hard, but the Republicans are just screwing it up for all of us.

As long as you spell their names correctly on that donation check, they don't give a shit, and yeah, I've been active in politics for thirty years now.

4. Yes all those that back these particular Democrats are complicit as well.
The US Constitution is being ripped asunder and all those that defend our current Democratic leadership are every bit as responsible. They do have us over a barrel because there are no alternatives and none will be tolerated. I would only hope and pray that all those living in San Francisco area vote for Cindy instead of Complicity..
