We are starting out by sleeping in the car, pillows allowed. This will simulate our first night on the road and give us the feeling of being out on that summer adventure. At day break one of us will sneak off on the bike to bring home a hearty McDonald's breakfast. After we have finished the delicacies we plan dig a latrine, pitch our tent in the backyard, toss the cell phones in the creek (well not really, we'll just shut them off) and enjoy the weekend. I'm sure that there will be much adulation for the creator of Stay-cation and poetry written about the cathartic benefits of trying to fool our brains into believing that living in a third world country will be an adventure filled with excitement. After two days in the sun we'll lather up with aloe and pack our stinky selves back in the car for one more night of *ell on wheels. With any luck we'll be able to avoid the construction. See ya Monday. Peace, Kim
