Bush to visit the flood zone Thursday
Overwhelmed river levees across Iowa and Illinois, which produce about a third of U.S. corn and soybeans, have also displaced thousands of people. Twenty-six people have died since May 25 during storms or tornadoes in flood-stricken Midwest states.

The White House said U.S. President George W. Bush would pay a one-day visit on Thursday.

5. But can he spare the time?
I mean, he must have missed out on a lot of mountain-biking during his world tour. How's he ever going to catch up if he has to keep visiting flood victims?

Surely someone can just do a bit of CGI on some Katrina footage and pretend it's the current flood, can't they? I mean, you've seen one disaster area, you've seen them all. And that bike ain't gonna pedal itself.

9. One day visit
...about all he can spare as he probably needs a vacation after his taxing trip.
That month-long vacation in August seems so far away right now...isn't he due for at least 1 week clearing more brush?

10. Bush will piss into the flood waters and do a photo-op with rescuers
taking them off the line of course, the way he did with the 50 firemen who were taken away from their rescue duties and required to follow the Chimp around during Katrina.
