Democrats should be all over this like the tainted toothpaste from China. Not because we are talking about a food item, but because this is part of Bush*'s tearing down of government responsibilities. We wouldn't be having tainted food problems if our federal agencies, like the FDA, was properly manned so that we could have enough inspections to insure a safe food supply.

1. I agree
one of the news reports yesterday was that regulators were going to get in there and work on this

really? What regulators?? We have regulators?

THAT is why we got in this position.

Food for crying out loud there are massive demonstrations in South Korea because THEY refuse to eat our beef. OUR BEEF. American beef is known to be unsafe.

3. Federal Doofus Association
Another BushCo. assclown running a federal office: Commissioner Mark McClellan, notorious for accepting an award from the "American Council on Science and Health", a bogus think tank funded by Big Pharma.

" . . . Doin'a heckuva job, McClellan-ie!"

4. No, it's TERRA!
:eyes:

My 11-year-old came home yesterday from a couple of days over at my sister's place, and my sister's 17 year old daughter said--get this--that the tomatoes came from the Middle East. Ergo, it's a terra-ist plot. No word on where my niece got that info. :puke:
