The transition to General Election mode on DU has begun.

As promised, Democratic Underground is now transitioning away from the Primaries and we are looking ahead to the General Election. Here's what you need to know at the moment:

1. General Discussion: Primaries is now closed. We are archiving all of the threads in that forum, which may take a couple of hours.

2. Once the archiving process is complete, we will reopen the forum with a new name - General Discussion: Presidential.

3. I'm sure many of you will have questions about how we will be handling rules and enforcement. As soon as General Discussion: Presidential is open, we will post another message explaining everything.

Thank you for your patience while we perform this transition. We are looking forward to kicking Republican butt for the rest of the year.
