Obama supporters will be disappointed...
I am a die hard Obama supporter from the suburbs of Chicago ..with that said.. I want to tell Democrats what is in store for the nation.

Barack Obama will start to build some bridges, maybe starting with the VP ...and not everybody will be happy with what takes place. You might like some of these bridges, you may not, but make no mistake...these bridges will be used to accomplish what seemed to be impossible. Barack Obama will unite the nation. You might not understand or agree with who he reaches out to, but it is all part of a bigger picture. Just be prepared for these bridges, olive branches, or reach outs ...some will be totally unexpected. We will all be disappointed at one time or another ...lets just keep focused on the prize ...a better nation.

Sincerity, Honesty, Honor, Integrity, Change, Unity ...

There is a new sheriff in town ...and he is changing the game.

Ma'am

8. and as long as we rely ..
on any one person alone to fix our fucked-upped-edness...we will be disappointed. As many say "Change,..what change? How is he going to do this?" The only answer I can think of is we. I imagine Jimmy Carter could have accomplished a lot more if he had we.

9. We should expect that
First of all, democracy is about everyone getting a little something, but no one is going to get everything. If any one wants a president he can agree with at all times, that person should run himself.

Bridge building must be done in order to keep the Big Tent of the Democratic Party unified. Ending the war in Iraq, reforming the war on terror from an excuse for imperialism to a workable strategy for national security, restoring constitutional civil liberties and human rights are what this election is about. There's no reason to expect any thing from McCain than more of Bush's policies of wars, barbarism, dictatorship tempered only by a quadrennial plebiscite, upwordly mobile money (but not people) and more wars. That is what he promises. That is why electing Obama is important in order to restore peace, prosperity, democracy and the rule of law.

13. As long as he ensures that Bush & Cheney get fair trial.
I don't have a problem with anything he does. But I think a woman I saw in NOLA talking to Mayor Ray Nagin about his reelection put it best. We will support you all the way. But if you screw us over we will be your worst nightmare come true. Bush & Cheney's trial is nonnegotiable.

15. My understanding of what he's said is...

...that he is running to be the president of the entire country, and not any particular demographic segment of it.
