Those damn Republicans. They blocked the climate bill because it was going to be too expensive.

But if it were a bill to provide funding for a war, it wouldn't be too expensive.

All those no-bid contracts for their corporate cronies weren't too expensive, and now we learn that some of the work wasn't even done, yet we paid for it!

If the bill gave tax breaks to corporations to locate their headquarters in another country, it wouldn't be too expensive.

The Democrats should be screaming loud and hard about how the Republicans have their priorities all messed up, the proof of which is our suck ass economy, unemployment figures, housing market, etc. Everything they touch turns to shit, and the Dems need to call them out on it and FORCE THEM to be ACCOUNTABLE for the sad state of affairs in our country right now!

The GOP never met a tax break for the wealthy it didn't like, and no cost (money or lives) is ever too much for war.

If we had good leadership in Congress, they'd condemn the GOP for this act.
