2. Hell if I know. I just thought that was what it looked like...
as I understand it, they haven't figured out why that weird symbol is on the tomb.

3. Looks more like a birdhouse or a cuckoo clock to me.

Seriously, though, a vague diamond/pentagon with a circle in it is hardly evidence of anything.

4. Yeah, I was just curious.
It looks like it, and the tomb is supposed to be that of Jesus.

7. You were expecting a massive marble tomb?
I hate to break it to the GOP, but Jesus was not a Wall Street banker or a CEO of a transnational corporation.

10. Looks like nothing more than a decorative overhang
As for the circle perhaps a family crest or symbol of another mythology?

then you have to deal with the indigestion. Selling nostrums to idiots is an old practice, and it seems it still works.

Eye of Horus ("the new born Son," "God's Son

so it makes sense to me
There was an Egyptian influence on Hebrew and Christianity

Its also the Arch which its the transition from one world to the other and the circle

15. Interesting
I was just doing research the other day for my book cover art and looking for the ALL SEEING EYE, and such, and ran across this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cao_Dai

A Religion that thinks ALL Religions should get along together, never heard of it before, finding it fascinating-- especially the Universal EYE, which looking at this symbol makes me wonder..

Hadn't occurred to me today watching the JC show, but now that you mention it, thanks :)

16. That's a gable and a circular "window"
Those are faux architectural details, not a Masonic symbol.

Say, why is it that every silhouette in a burnt piece of toast that looks like a chick in a hijab gets identified as the Virgin Mary? Couldn't it be Mrs. Mohammed? Or Priscilla Mullins? And all the supposed Jesus sightings look an awful lot like John Lennon in his hairier periods.
