Not since Ike versus Kennedy? Brian Williams just misspoke.
And Russert and Olbermann just stared speechless.

1. Williams is such an intellectual lightweight
A vapid talking head in a suit. He should be digging ditches somewhere, not sitting in front of a camera being paid whatever humongous salary he gets.

13. He's the commencement speaker at OSU on Sunday.
It's forecast to be 90 degrees in the Shoe, and these parental units would rather the band did script Ohio in a blizzard or in thongs than hear him. Wonder if he'll be dispensing advice:

Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who
supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of
fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the
ugly parts and recycling it for more than it’s worth.

Awwww, Brian, that's so touching and exactly what I'd expect you to say, but I need some A/C quick.

But I've received advice too, and trust me on this: "Wear sunscreen." Bring a book and your best water bottle. If you can, sit on the shady side; it's a long sit.

6. Not just in 1952 and again in 1956 during his 2nd term he had a heart attack
...and Richard Nixon took over a lot of presidential duties during much of the 2nd term while Ike played golf

14. It was regarding major policy decisions...
Ike was asked to state major policy decisions that Dick helped shape.

He said "give me a week and I might think of one."

There certainly was no love lost between the two of them.

12. "misspoke" implies he actually knows the truth...
Williams exposed his ignorant ass again, that's what he did.
