Thom Hartmann is talking about paid shills
posting RW talking points on message boards. He said they get paid 10 or 15 cents per post to spread conservative viewpoints on message boards across the internet.

Did anyone else hear him talk about this?

Anyway, I have posted before about Netvogates, a marketing company retained by repukes (I believe) to spread dissension and RW crap at progressive internet sites.

13. Oh, geez! Her.
Unlistenable. I thought it was cute how, during the late Randi Rhodes kerfuffle, how Marsh got some of the fringe Hillarians to start clamoring for her to replace Randi.

Then again, if Marsh has a nice gig doing a paid hustle for the DLC and it keeps her power on and she can sleep at night, eh? Like John Lennon said: "Whatever gets you through the night, it's alright."

For my part, I think it's always dangerous getting too kissy-kissy with politicians, because sooner or later they'll screw up, you'll feel the need to censor yourself to keep the coin coming and bang! There went your credibility. You can see some of the same effect with "Big Eddie."

7. Pay attention to Friday afternoon GD posts and note how often the same memes
come up on Sunday morning with the talk shows; then on Sunday morning they flood the place.

Transparent as air.

Step right up, yes. That's right.

Well, either you're closing your eyes
To a situation you do not wish to acknowledge
Or you are not aware of the caliber of disaster indicated
By the presence of a ***** in your community.
Ya got trouble, my friend, right here,
I say, trouble right here in River City.

9. It's amazing they'd have to be paid

Most of the trollish freaks I run across would gladly do it for free. They are, after all, Cons and Repigs, and thus aren't too erribly-tay ight-bray if you know what I ean-may.

At 15 cents/post, your average mouth-breather would have to post 40 talking points an hour to make $6/hour. That's tough work for someone who types with one finger on one hand.

10. Whenever I've seen someone mention that the disruptors appear coordinated
with matching talking points, the poster is inevitably derided as paranoid and mocked with "Where can I get a job like that?"

And of course receives the mandatory salt in the wound:

Where are all THOSE posters now?

Or when I noticed that an uncommon word or phrase suddenly became overused (ex. Hillary has become UNHINGED).

I KNOW that these marketers are the ones keeping DU:P in chaos.........but they still manage to pi$$ me off.
