4 Frames inches to Death- A soldier's battle in Afghanistan - he's OK.
From Reuters photographer Goran Tomasevic who is near Garmser in Helmand Province, Afghanistan with the U.S. 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit come these 4 frames from a sequence taken when the unit came under fire from Taliban fighters May 18, 2008.

The Marine was uninjured.

MAY THEY ALL COME HOME SAFE!

2. Don't they usually wear helmets?
With a concussion that near his head, you can bet there is at least some injury. Maybe not visible but likely to his hearing or to his brain.

6. Hope they get home safely.
I'm not a praying guy but if I did, that guy is at the top of my list.

I hope he's not identifiable in the photo for the sake of his family.
