Hagee's beliefs are that if he tries really hard, he can make the things in prophecy come true and thereby obligate God to bring about the Rapture earlier than anticipated. He supports Israel only in that it is supposed to exist at the end times, and at the end times it is supposed to be destroyed because of all the nonbeliever Jews there. Anyone who thinks that they should be able to force God's hand to let them into heaven, and that whole peoples exist only to serve as Biblical placeholders for an apocalyptic "example" such as Hagee is delusional scum.

Has McCain renounced Hagee's support today? In the last hour? Since I had my last cup of coffee? I want to hear it again. And again. And again. For weeks. I want it to be in the lead segment of the Today Show for week after week, and I want Hagee on with a McCain spokesperson, and the spokesperson has to explain or justify everything that falls out of Hagee's fat mouth.

Otherwise, we're getting nothing like fair and we're a long ways from balanced.

12. What kills me is

McCain eagerly and enthusiastically sought Hagee's endorsement back in February but now that it's come out that Hagee is a fundagelical nutjob, McCain's acting as if he never realized his views were so extreme and the MSM is dutifully playing along. In both news stories I saw earlier today, the newscasters were reporting it as if Hagee endorsed McCain out of the blue and McCain initially had nothing to do with it. :grr:
