A couple things to feel smug about

1) I am so smug. I drive a corolla. YES a 99 corolla. Just how do those moms with the huge explorer things afford it all? AH YES. They are super privileged white chicks. We only TRANSFER to that school. GAS went up ten cents from when I got it yesterday. I bought $10.00 worth! HA HA! That was 2.68 gallons. My gas gage went up to a quarter tank.

FOR YEARS I have had to suffer the indignity of the small car. YES I have to get out way in the street to SEE. YES, I can't see over your honking ass big SUV. Yes, my wee child isn't in as much armor as you. But finally my day has come.

2) We have a GAY mayor elect. And his gaynees wasn't even a factor. EAT That middle America that loves wars and hates gay people. YES, we do want our own country. Yours isn't working for us. Reminder to self: ANOTHER reason you can't move to Beaverton. AS IF.

Signed I'm sorry you live where gay people are hated and you can't afford gas. I'd rather not drive at all myself. But heh-I have a COROLLA and you don't.

5. I love my 2000 Ranger - I'm getting a shade under 20 mpg myself...

...3 liter V6, auto and a/c. Not bad compared to all those full size gas-sucker trucks we have here in Texas. Plus: I carpool.

3. His gayness was so not a factor that when someone mentioned

that one of the candidates was gay, I thought they were talking about Sho. I mean, I knew Adams is gay, but it just doesn't rank anywhere in my list of reasons to vote/not vote for anyone.
