21. Gore wins either way, his investment funds are set up and ready to go
Edited on Wed May-21-08 09:25 AM by Progressive_In_NC
when we get an environment friendly person in office. I don't think either Obama or Clinton will be any different on this issue. Something is up though, he closed investiment in one of the funds, so he must have confidence in a deal with somebody in the House, Senate or future Oval Office participant.

He is about to get rich beyond any of our wildest dreams from investments in Eco-Companies.

My opinion of both candidates is not changable. I'm sold on Obama and there is not a person on earth who could make me gain any respect for Hillary. Not even Al Gore, although his endorsement of Obama would certainly be welcomed.

6. NONE! I don't pay any attention to movie stars, or athletes, and
I don't GAS who supports who. I make my own decisions based on what I think of the candidates!

7. Well, Don Garlits, maybe.
But knowing that crochety old Florida Cracker, he's probably endorse Attilla The Hun.

22. Don't know "Big Daddy"? You must not hang out at dragstrips
Or you're not old.

However, if Garlits endorsed a candidate, I don't think I'd be swayed from my current choice.

30. A sign of serious cultural deprivation
Dragstrips, roller-derby rinks, poolhalls, the cultural temples of our age.

Al Gore would not be amused by dragstrips. BIG carbon footprints. Burned gasoline and nitro-methane, combined with burning tires, these would not alleviate greenhouse gases one bit. Good times, though.

8. I think Gore would be an impressive endorsement.
I do feel encouraged that people whom I hold in the highest regard -- Kennedy, Dodd, Kerry, Jim McDermott support Obama.

Jimmy Carter hasn't endorsed, but essentially said he was for Obama, too.

Although a big name endorsement wouldn't change my mind, if I were undecided, endorsements from the above mentioned people would go a long way in helping me decide. I trust their judgment.
