Poll question: Have you run for an office?
What office did you run for, and what was it like? Did you win or lose?

5. lost my bid for town council in 2001
It was very challenging. I won a "primary" for the Green Party line, but the primary was canceled due to 9-11-01.
I ended up with the Working Families Party Line and the Democratic Party line. I lost huge by about 1000 votes. Very red town.

10. Seriously thought about it.
Got approached about running for a judgeship. I never thought the people who asked me to do it would put up the kind of money they were suggesting; I wasn't going to put up that kind of money for a job that pay less than what I make in my practice, and I wasn't going to file just to have a Democrat on the ballot.
