bush fuckup only covered by Satirical Paper
Our brilliant president came to New Orleans in April (mostly for photo ops) but he brought a plaque (provided by the white house) which misspelled The "Cresent" City. Locals have defaced the monument. The story was in the New Orleans Levee which is an awesome collection of satire and NOLA is chock full of material for them.

bush and his buddies from Mexico and Canada "Planted" a new tree for Earth Day, but the tree wasn't a new one, just one that was dug up and replanted for another photo op.

What a great legacy. He even fucks up the easy stuff.

1. He's just one little fuck-it-up machine, isn't he.
How much more disrespectful can Bush and the administration get? They are completely disgraceful and rotten. I really feel for the people of New Orleans.

2. Check out the paper
if ya get a chance. There's a story in there about vitter pushing funding for expanding Men's Rooms at the local airport. Its a hilarious monthly break.

6. That's a funny paper...
...they're the "New Orleans Levee: We don't hold anything back"

Very funny!

Oh, and here are the morans re-planting the tree using what looks like gold-plated shovels:

4. We need to erect Bush statues all across America
to give people a place to fling their feces and spray or toss their urine in a public setting. It would be a kind of therapy, like the plaque that the citizens defaced.

5. Outstanding Idea
Citizens should be urged to provide a LIBERAL does of outrage and thoroughly deface the tribute to conservative values.

7. Good find, Bosshog! I had no idea about the monument or the tree -- my, my.
I was on my way to work that day when the interstate came to a complete halt. Thought there was a terrible accident up ahead until I found out the cause was the boy king's motorcade.

I guess I'm out of touch since I don't watch even the local news or read the Times-Picayune anymore.

Thanks for the link!

8. I found the New Orleans Levee
(free on a newsstand) while carousing the French Quarter about four months ago. Its a great rag. Well worth signing up for to get the electronic version. They do a great job but as you know the material they have to work with is priceless. Happy Reading. The complete May Issue is due on the web next monday. One story in that issue states that the vatican is considering jindal for sainthood. What a hoot!

12. Midshipmen in Annapolis
are instructed to find a Chief at their first duty station and learn whatever you can. bush was/is too fucking stupid to do anything of the kind. (And as a point of conservative pride, the motherfucker left the NG as a fucking O-2, a fucking monkey can make Captain in the National Guard.) Most of the junior officers I had contact with (many of them) were smart enough not to piss off a member of the goat locker. The smart ones let us take them under our wing and groom them for greatness. I'm proud to say an Ensign who "I worked for" way back when recently was promoted to Captain.
