JON STEWART TO MCCAIN: I'M GOING TO WIN YOU THE ELECTION RIGHT HERE
He suggested that McCain Pick Hillary Clinton as his V.P. candidate.

That is an absolutely Fucking NIGHTMARE Scenario for the Democratic Party.

6. It would win him the election...
...because most of those paying attention will have their heads just flat explode, and all that will be left are people that go into the ballot box and see McMaverick & eGoodTimes.inc and decide accordingly, against those foreign soundin names.

Of course, plenty of heads on the right would explode too, and corporate America would cheer for its resounding victory.

8. Geeze -- NO!
She'll regroup. She'll wait and see if Obama loses in the GE; if he does, she'll run in '12 on the "See, I told ya so" platform.

If Obama wins, she'll remain Senator while jockeying for a position on the SCOTUS.

16. Nah, it would guarantee an Obama victory.
See, a ton of Repugs hate McCain already. If he added Hillary, who they DEFINITELY hate, they would just sit it out. McCain with another repug they could just hold their noses.
