cell phones and fast food

Those seem to be the bulk of commercials on TV these days. Don't see too many car commercials. None of this seems to surprising. The new fast food commercials are interesting - trying to equate fast food with cool. They're all doing it. You're not eating fast food because it's all you can afford, it's because it's cool!

1. Well that's what all advertising does - try to equate what they're selling with "cool"

Clothes, Cars, Food, Pills - whatever. Effective advertising makes you think in a relatively short time that something is missing in your life and that product X can fill that void.

2. Fast Food is Quite Costly

if you're trying to be frugal. As for commercials, yes most are cell phone offers, fast food.....and we're being pummeled here by local car dealer commercials......and the "get out of debt now" commercials.
