What`s with this very buggy DU today?

1. It's not just DU for me

I don't know if it's my computer or internet connection, but I am having trouble loading several sites this morning. Youtube won't come up at all.

I assumed a DNS problem. But maybe it's something wider going on.

Tubes. Blocked.

YouTube won't load, but several other sites will.

DU took two minutes to come up, and I got a garbled home page.

I haven`t tried you tube, but most other sites seem to be working.

If you look at the "latest discussion" page, there weren't any new posts for about an hour. So it was down for everybody I would surmise.

15. Yup, couldn't even get it to load for about 1/2 hour. Then very slow. Seems more normal now. (nt)

18. I visited the DU Panic room earlier to see if it was just me. Luckily I had a couple of

replies to verify that it was down. I just had a problem though opening up a thread at DU videos. The post of the DC Madam saying that she would never commit suicide.

19. It took about half an hour before this site would come up for me

and I'm on the local phone company DSL line. No problem with other sites I frequent, though. I figured there was heavy traffic, but I see we're still only at Level 1.

20. DU was dead for 30-40 minutes

So was YouTube, which seemed like an odd coincidence because all other web sites were fine. I was just about to polish my tinfoil hat when DU came back online.
