5. I hit the trifecta one day

As a DUzy nominator, an original thread poster, and a responder. Which brings up to two ethical dilemmas I've been having:

I don't give myself credit for a DUzy for threads that I nominate--it feels self-aggrandizing. In similar vein, should I give myself credit for a DUzy for responses to a thread that I myself started?

7. how and why would you give yourself credit for nominating a thread? Do you have some

extra special way of pming jeff a link? if i nominate something i just send him a pm with sentence or two as to what it's about and then the link---end of story.

8. I DON'T give myself credit for nominating links

JeffR lists the people who nominate a thread during the week whether he uses it or not.

I have him on my buddy list, so when I come across something "DUzy-able," even when it's on a thread that I started, I just drop him a PM.

At any rate, you've confirmed what my instincts have been telling me--give myself credit for a DUzy only for my threads and posts that someone else has nominated. Thanks!
