I urge everyone to watch the 'Meet Your Meet' documentary on DU's frontpage
It's narrated by Alec Baldwin, and it reveals the truth about what you're putting in your mouth on a daily basis.

6. I can't do it.
I love my dogs dearly and I cannot stand the thought of any animal being butchered for me to eat. Just the thought of what is in that film has made me swear off beef and pork. I can still eat fish, but I don't know about chicken and turkey. The problem is that if you don't eat any kind of meat, the only way you can get a complete protein is by combining grains and legumes (like beans and rice). I hate soy, before you suggest that.

8. Is Alec vegetarian?
Who knew.... I have been moving in that direction for some time.... RARELY any red meat, but the occasional chicken, eggs and fish are damned hard to give up

Shock schlock... they don't need to put bloody carcasses
in our faces to get their point across. That ad makes me want to puke... not click.
