Stem Cell Research by all accounts, will lead to astonishing developments in health and CURE some diseases and various ailments when allowed to come to fruition. BECAUSE it will abolish the need for meds-well guess what-BIG PHARMA will be hurtin'!!!! They'll lose bilions of dollars! We can't have that! No, let everyone be a slave to disease, and don't offer them anything that will HELP them-Gawd-No!!

2. I heard the same thing many years ago about cancer. Cancer is a

very large money maker. I no longer do the Komen Run, it sickens me. All I can think of is my poor mother and what this dreadful disease did to her. You can't tell me with all of the money and time spent in research there isn't some cures/easier treatments out there for breast cancer.

5. Yes, I have heard of those. Pharma doesn't want us to know about them

as you say. Susan Komen (sister to Nancy Brinker) died of breast cancer and Ms. Brinker started this Run for the Cure (Komen 5K Run) held here and many other places each year. Many, many dollars donated and many, many dollars to administrative ovehead. I looked at their budget one time and became totally disgusted. Thanks for your info, God forbid I should ever need it..

Would you like to show peer reviewed data? By the way these "nutriional therapies" are being studied..Its been proved that shark cartiledge for instance is CRAP. However there is a big vitamin C study and cancer going on now. Isn't that what woos like you always insist is a cure?
It is agaisnt the law to sell snake oil. people who kill people with false cures/sugar pills are the scum of the earth and need to be locked up.

There are *many* causes of breast cancer including genetic defects. There are now vaccines to prevent and actually treat some types of tumors. You really think that cancer is a simple cure? God this is why scientists are always banging their heads agaisnt the wall because people don't actually try to understand the science, they just scream for the "magic pill". Cancer is NOT a simple disease nor is he biology associated with it simple.

You do know there are ENTIRE biotech companies and divisions in the Pharma companies working on Stem cell research right?
Theres actually ALOT of private money being poured into stem cell work..I used to work for a big biotech based in California doing a lot of it.
Why do you keep ignoring the fact that pharma companies do a lot of disease prevention ...VACCINES.
