I think this guy could have helped us turn things around.

Excellent report/debunking of the RW attack on his energy bills.

1. He's awesome, isn't he? I think he was still doing 'SportsCenter' on ESPN
Edited on Tue Feb-27-07 08:45 PM by AzDar
until 9/11, when he went live for L.A. stations (he was in N.Y.) for several days.
After that, he went 'mainstream', IIRC.
Soooo glad he did!

2. it was great
more info than I got from Gore's statement.

I wish, however, he had used this:

Remember Cheney's $186,000 electric bill in 2001? I'd forgotten all about it.

3. I particularly liked his "chalk and blackboard" approach...
In other words he laid it out so simply and clearly that even a dumbass freeper could get it.

Keith really is living up to his Rolling Stone monicker... The Most Honest Man in News!

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

4. that was great...
turns out the people that did the "so called" study, who called themselves partisan...were just that...very partisan...

The Tennessee Center for Policy Research is very, very, very partisan...

Here's the guy...Drew Johnson...he's pro-bush, pro-war...!

non-partisan my ass...

5. he was recovering from his years of the Lewinsky blitz
He anchored a talk show during that time. He hated it -- hated the pundits and the arguments. He quit. When he came back to cable news, he refused to do that crap.

8. He was actually at Fox Sports Net
having already left ESPN in 1997 and MSNBC once in 1998 because he wanted his show to be a news show and instead it was the Monica Lewinsky Hour. He didn't start Countdown until March 2003.

And in case anyone's wondering, at the time it was considered an apolitical show about the news. It wasn't banging the drum for the war.

And Keith was there during and after Election 2004...as the only MSM journalist daring to take a second look at Ohio and even some other states.
