Wha? Now all 3 remaining candidates have been spied on?
Is this an attempt to dilute the story of the initial breech?

15. Ms. Harty
U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Maura Harty addresses the media in New Delhi on October 10, 2007. Ms. Harty said the U.S. approach is to be vigilant in securing its borders, while at the same time maintaining its traditional welcome for international travelers. Seated next to Ms. Harty is U.S. Embassy Consul General Peter G. Kaestner.

tp://www.state.gov/secretary/former/powell/remarks/2002/14852.htm

Maura Harty was chosen for her current position as the Executive Secretary of the Department of State by Secretary of State Colin L. Powell in May 2001.

Ambassador Harty entered the Foreign Service in 1981 after receiving a bachelor’s degree from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. Following an initial assignment to the American Embassy in Mexico City, Ambassador Harty returned to Washington and immediately participated in the United States’ rescue mission to Grenada. Ambassador Harty and another State Department officer flew in with international military forces to lead the search for endangered American students and retirees. She later served as a Watch Officer in the State Department’s Operations Center and was promoted to Senior Watch Officer during that assignment. In 1987-1988, Harty was a Special Assistant to then Secretary of State George P. Shultz.

Harty returned overseas in 1988 by volunteering for service at the American Embassy in Bogota, Colombia at the time judged to be among the most dangerous assignments available. As chief of the visa section, she pioneered new ways to identify drug traffickers and to establish legal means to impede their travel, as well as the travel of family members who benefited from the proceeds of narcotics trafficking. Ambassador Harty subsequently served as Consul at the American Embassy in Madrid. During that time she was also drafted to assist in the opening of the American Embassy in Vilnius, Lithuania.

5. Accumulating material for blackmail is the life's blood of a "democracy"
Guaranteed anyone with a shot at president is under various forms of surveillance by different agencies, whether legal or otherwise, and any blackmail material material acumulated in the course of that surveillance would be just as valued by the holder whether the target is Republican or Democrat.

What's been caught here and the reason we are hearing about it is an unauthorized shot by a self-appointed crew, possibly at Dyncorp.

6. Edwards will probably be on the list, too. A couple of possibilities...
(For clarity, I'm just guessing on Edwards)

Either these contractors were just pulling famous names out of the air to use as samples for their searches and training, or someone was just goofing off, or BushCo searched all the major candidates. He could have done that out of Nixon-like paranoia, or he could have searched the Republicans just to throw up a smokescreen, or he might have included McCain because he wanted a different candidate to win.

I wonder if we'll ever know.

7. My question: If this began in 2007 why would only these three have been spied on?
How about the rest of the candidates? For that matter why only presidential candidates?

It's too convenient for it to ONLY be these three.

8. Yes...

The Hillary breech was by a trainee during a monitored exercise last year.

Not at all like the Obama story.

But this is all an attempt to minimize the political ramifications of the Obama breech, and thereby kill further investigation.

One might reasonably ask WHY the trainees were given access to the real database?
