Who the fuck does this kid think he is? Give me 10 minutes in a room with this kid and I would fucking rip him to shreds. These types of chickenhawks are the lowest of the low. Arghh.

(I don't know if this is new or not.)

12. What is Cheney doing in Iraq anyway?
Edited on Mon Mar-17-08 10:14 PM by mac2
http://www.vetvoice.com/ Thanks to you I went to this web site.

He is not the "Commander-in-Second" that I know of. He hasn't been given powers or approval by Congress of running our defense department. He does think he's king doesn't he?

His involvement in the military exercises on 911 made us open to attack. They should have stated...no keep away.

The politicians always leave the country to escape the heat at home. He is in deep trouble. It makes them look more involved...busy, etc. Cheney stays away from work most the time.

Impeach Cheney now Congress. We and the world's people are in great danger. I hope every general would disagree with his Iran agenda. Let him go on the battle field.

5. The head of Young America's Foundation approached John Kerry and tried to accuse him...
of being anti-troops and ask him if he was going to participate in Winter Soldier 2. Keep in mind this kid is 21 and a chickenhawk.

7. I do wish Kerry had come out with a statement of support for the IVAW
that bothered me more than the kid's comments.

I have a lot of respect for the VVAW members who showed up for this event, and I don't fully understand why Kerry disassociated himself from this winter soldier event to that degree.

8. I can see why he didn't.
He's in a re-election year and him announcing his support for IVAW is more "ammo" for those pieces of shit on the right who accuse him of being anti-troops.

11. I guess Kerry was lucky
The senators who supported him and the VVAW fortunately were concerned with things larger than their own reelection.

17. Kerry and his run for President showed he didn't want to
win. Like Ross Perot he lead us to the win and then left us to the Republicans.

20. But didn't fight for it.
Democrats allowed Bush to win by not protesting the fraud and corruption at the Electoral College Certification. Right, we won all the elections for President since 2000 but Senate Dems didn't insist on finishing the counting/recounting or refused to allow any protest from the House.

We even set aside a coffer of money to fight for the fraud voting investigations, etc. after Bush stole 2000 election.

Howard Dean and the Democratic leadership need to be replaced. How can you win elections and yet give them away?

23. John Kerry did win as did Al Gore, but the Bush Regime had the machine in place both times to STEAL
IT from us.

And Ross Perot gave us Bill Clinton.

How about Wall of Crooks and Liars? Reagan Iran Contra genocide leader and destroyer of democracy. Leader of the Neo Cons for world government? He got "his" money for public service but refused to give it to others.

Paul Harvey's "commentaries" are so full of lies and manipulation of the truth (using sentimentality...sippy stuff). My local radio station carries them but I turn him off.

22. Jason "I’m fighting the Culture War Here So I Don’t Have To Fight The Terrorists There" Mattera ...
Plays Soldier On FOX News

Chickenhawk Jason Mattera, whose "explanation" for not enlisting in the war on terror is that he’s fighting the culture war here at home, was given the opportunity to pose as a warrior on Hannity & Colmes last night (3/17/08) as he bragged about his confrontation with real-life veteran John Kerry. Mattera has quite an interesting past, which I’ll detail after the jump, none of which was revealed to Hannity & Colmes viewers. With video.

The excuse for bringing on Mattera was the 2008 Winter Soldier conference just held in Washington. It was named after the 1971 Winter Soldier Investigation into the Vietnam War which launched John Kerry’s career. But, rather than discuss either Winter Soldier event, "fair and balanced" FOX News allowed Mattera to sling accusations at Kerry and others who have spoken out against the war then and now without any opposing guest. Substitute co-host Kirsten Powers didn't offer much in the way of debate, either, even in her disproportionately brief time with Mattera.

Mattera talked tough about standing up for our troops but that doesn’t mean he’s about to put his fanny on the front lines any time soon. As he told Chris Matthews on MSNBC’s Hardball in 2005, the reason he’s not in Iraq is because he’s "fighting the battle of ideas."

MoFo Mattera’s latest mission was to stake out John Kerry and take such risks as asking, "Do you think they will make slanderous accusations?" about the 2008 Winter Soldiers. It was not an easy assignment. In order to speak with Kerry, Mattera had to sit through several hours of a committee hearing. "It was a grueling, grueling process," Mattera said. I’ll bet! But his bravery was rewarded, not just with the interview with Kerry but with a prime time appearance on FOX News where nobody asked him any tough questions.
