I think if something like 35 or 40% of the people of the US were against the Iraq war then yes they would to win in November. Karl Rove is evil, but bright at winning elections. Bombing Iran would lead to a very heavy loss in November for the Republicans.

there won't be an election in November. This scenario has been in place for some time now and will ensure that the Bush Administration will never be faced with any kind of charges against them.

But we have had war-ships all around there for years now. Israel has been talking tough for years. The biggest thing that scares me is Dick "Shooter" Cheney going over there.
