Let's get a couple of things straight on Spitzer....
1. The guy's a scumbag and he knows it.

2. The guy resigned almost immediately after the news broke unlike whoremeister Vitter and "Wide Stance" Craig.

This is the difference between 'Lics and Democrats, we have the intestinal fortitude to admit our wrongs and take our punishment. 'Lics are fucking crybabies and the American people understand the differences.

1. Good luck to all you morality junkies.
The Bush Justice Department is targeting your Democrats.

Hello? McFly?

7. Spitzer isn't the story. Anyone can be an ass.
The real story is the Justice Department has a laundry list and is working through it.

10. I have no answer for that. I don't understand it.
You'd think someone as smart as he is would have known.

11. I agree.
I suspect the repubs are flexing the muscles on the machine they built over the last 7 years. If they can't win directly, they'll manipulate enough key people out of their posts and replace them with someone they can either deal with easier or replace them with a repub so they can get what they want.

3. Spitzer made himself a target
no one coerced him into what he did. He was man enough to resign and for that he deserves credit.

12. And he's been replaced with someone the republicans have
already said they get along with better. Now what do you think that means? Hmm?

13. The dems weren't exactly
getting along with Spitzer either. On his Innauguration day we were were all filled with joy and with hope but he threw it all away. No one did this to him, he did it all himself.

14. He did the original injury to himself, but
he didn't do all the piling on afterwards. And the fact remains that according to a news article I saw earlier, his replacement doesn't fight the republicans. You're going to be very sorry.

16. It's NY! This was a huge story
Just what are we going to be sorry about? It's not like we had a choice in the matter. Paterson is a quiet, serious guy and he will do the best he can in this situation. He's accomplished in his own right.

4. 'taint got nothing to do with morality....
...its got everything to do with saying "I fucked up, I take the responsibility for my fuck up, I will take my punishment, and I will try to fix it."

8. On a scale of 1 to 10, Spitzer is a 2 and the Justice Department
is off the scale. Really, where are our priorities?
