Romney open to VP invitation
http://www.boston.com/news/politics/politicalintelligence/2008/03/romney_open_to.html

Mitt Romney is declaring that he would jump at the chance to be vice president if Republican John McCain offered the No. 2 slot.

"I think any Republican leader in this country would be honored to be asked to serve as the vice presidential nominee, myself included," Romney said in an interview to be aired tonight on Fox News Channel.

In his first interview after leaving the GOP race, the former Massachusetts governor also called Democrats Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama "chihuahuas" and McCain the "big dog" on national security.

As a Massachusetts resident, I sincerely apologize for not having worked harder to get Shannon O'Brien elected to the governorship over Romney several years ago, which might have spared us all the pain of enduring this doofus on the public stage.

1. Was Mitt Romney one of the original Mousketeers?
Seems like he must have been.

6. I have no desire to be VP, but
if asked I realize it would not be possible to say no.

So -- my hat's in the ring too.

Does that mean that he's going to put McInsane in a dog carrier and have it on the roof of his car for 8 hours?

4. He's a disgrace to dept store mannequins everywhere
but if he is on the ticket as VP he stands a very good chance of bein our 45th president, given McLame's age, senility, general health etc.

8. Good point. McCain's ticker has statistical expiry date on it
But then again, the old man may outlive us all, Abe Vigoda style.
