I don't generally get too excited when people I don't know from Adam date, marry, breed, or otherwise do what humans do on a remarkably regular basis - so it seemed a bit strange were so joyful about it.

I don't know your particulars - and I wish you best luck, with a reminder that you probably hear a lot.

Patience. My sister married when she was 39 and they decided to try for a baby. This was over 20 years ago. After trying for 2 years, they went to a doctor and discovered that he had a low sperm count (they swear it had nothing to do with his being 150 pounds overweight). This combined with her age was creating the problem.

They tried the fertility drug routine with no success for another year - you can imagine that she was not a very pleasant person through all this. Finally, they said "enough - we'll adopt." Stopped the drugs and stopped "trying" to get pregnant.

Two months later, she was pregnant. Their son just turned 18 this year.

Patience and calm. It really seemed like she finally conceived when she wasn't stressing out any more.

Be calm, be happy, don't stress about it. There are few things in life that are more fun than shagging, but let's face it - sex loses a lot of its appeal when you've got an agenda. Don't forget to have fun, okay?

3. She said something, a few weeks back, about a pregnant lady

chasing somebody down the street. But I wasn't sure if that was a rerun or not. I don't watch as much as I did. Not because Jon Stewart is dead to me now or anything...just because it was one of my things that I did with MrG. It was one of his favorites.
