Looks like we're picking up a congressional seat tonight, folks!

Bill Foster is on track to beat Jim "Milk Nazi" Oberweis in the special election for the seat Hastert deserted late last year. This special election will fill that seat through November, when we will go through pretty much the same thing all over again.

The last poll I saw, from earlier this week, was 54% for Foster, and 47% for Oberweis. This is especially significant given the traditionally right-leaning tendencies of the voters in this district, which consists of a mix of middle- to upper-middle class neighborhoods along the Fox river west of Chicago and a large swath of Illinois farmland.

Latest results:
Currently 53% Foster, 47% Oberweis, with 88% reporting. GO FOSTER!!!
