was almost laughed off national television before his satellite feed mercifully went dead. Damn, they aren't even pretending to be democrats anymore-did you HEAR him actually invoke the "well Bill, this is a post 9-11 world now we live in" crapola? I couldn't believe it. Not only are they using RW tactics but have now even adopted the same talking points. What a soulless shill he is, and what a disgrace the Clinton campaign has turned out to be. to think, we ALL admired and defended these people for years like it was our own family that was being attacked. damn-what a disappointment

there is no way she can win the nomination and they know it. But they are going to make damn sure that Obama doesn't win the presidency so she can come back, like a vampire that won't die, and run again in 2012.

| 4. Guess it is all in the eye of the beholder. I though McAuliffe did |
|
a fine job in his support of Hillary. Nothing more, nothing less. We all are like vultures picking at the bones of a carcass. Just looking for something, anything to vilify the other candidate. I'm not an Obama supporter but I'm not a non-supporter either. It is just funny how people will take the least little thing and use it to "prove" that someone was laughed off the stage, made a lame argument, a candidate will never get the nomination, etc. I don't think McAuliffe hurt Hillary. You see desparate, I see a guy doing his job. IMHO
And I don't think there is a nefarious plot afoot to deny Obama the nomination so Hillary can come back in 2012 - ya know paranoia can destroy ya.

| 2. Some of us noticed back in the 90s that the DLC/New Democrat |

thing was intellectually and morally out of gas. Men who have made livings and reputations pushing this wrongheaded stuff are simply not going to give up their positions easily just because the rest of us have awakened and realized what a con job it was.
They nearly managed to kill off half the party. Dean's 50 State Strategy has managed to resurrect state parties that were kept so short of funds they were nearing bankruptcy.
Conservatives are the problem whether or not they're in our party or theirs. We need to get them out of power and keep them out.

We need to get them out of power and keep them out. More than that we need to elect progressive populists to salvage what is left of OUR country

| 6. I remeber a piece on the news about Dean opening an office in Wyoming |
|
If I remember right, a college student or very young man was the only staff. That was some time ago. I guess it's paying off.
On the tv news this morning a reporter up there was saying that every caucus goer she spoke with up to that point had never participated in a caucus before. That's good news despite how the overall numbers may look. We know it's not a very populated state.
