Is Iraq no longer a member of OPEC
I just read a thread in LBN about Iraq signing a deal with Oil Companies to develop more of their oil fields and start pumping another half million barrels a day which would be added on to their 2.4 million barrels a day they are currently pumping. If I remember correctly OPEC had restricted Iraq to 1.5 million barrels a day. So did the USA remove Iraq from OPEC?

1. Good question.
I'm interested in knowing the answer to that as well.

2. Iraq is a member of OPEC.
Although Iraq remains a member of OPEC, Iraqi production has not been a part of any OPEC quota agreements since March 1998.
