First McCain, then Rove now the RNC? What are they up to?

Man yesterday it was McCain, this morning it was Rove, now I see the RNC has gotten into the "run a clean campaign" game. Calling for an end to using Obama's middle name and an end to "cheap campaign tactics".
Ok, is it just me or are these assholes up to something? Do they really expect us to believe they actually developed a conscience? Or that they all of a sudden don't want to look like racists and bigots? It's a little too late for that shit, and they know it. Makes me wonder what they are trying to pull here...

Me too! But what's bothering me about this is they don't know how to "not fight dirty". I don't think this is some change of heart or switching tactics because they are sunk. Especially since this all happened within 2 days. I guess we are going to have to wait it out and see, call me crazy, I was willing to give McCain the benefit of the doubt, but my bullshit detector went off when Rove joined in, and then the RNC? My bullshit detector went into high gear... Rove couldn't fight clean even if he wanted to, it's not in his blood to be honest.

The elites in the GOP (Rove, RNC, etc) dont expect to win this year.

In fact I doubt they want to win, and they allowed McCain to become the nominee with that in mind.

(Remember how sudden Romney left the race? Probably pressured by the RNC.)
