1. They looked GREAT.. It will be interesting to see which pics are chosen
My guess is that the most unflattering ones will make the news and papers..

Tipper looked especially nice :)

Edited to add that Catherine Deneuve looks fantastic, too! I want to look as good as her, when I'm 63.

20. Catherine Deneuve.. I'd dare say most of us would love to look
like her at any age--maybe even when she is dead (which hopefully is very far distant in the future). LOL

11. Gorgeous brown dress, off one shoulder as I remember
but my CRS disease already erased the designer from my mind. But Al is "wearing" Ralph Lauren. That I remember. :)

For those who aren't watching, Ryan asked Al who should play Al in a bio movie and Gore said "William Hung." Cracked everybody up!

18. Just one of those thirty second red carpet interviews
but it was very nice and relaxed and funny. And they looked great! I was getting pretty tired of Al's black on black look, and this was much better.

21. Yes, they were already interviewed.
Sooo sorry about the headache. I miss out on much because of migraines. They suck so bad. One of the other channels may still do another interview, though. You might want to surf around. The E interview was only about 10 -15 minutes ago so I'm sure they are still out on the red carpet somewhere to be seen.

25. A fellow migrainer
I don't wish it on anyone... they very much suck. Nothing helped this one, but two hours of sleep in the dark... and lots of meds... which I don't like to take, but I was getting nauseous (the longer it stays, the worse the symptoms)...

hey while we are on the topic.. I'm finding (between the menstrual migraines), mine occur from allergy/sinus and benadryl seems to help more than anything for this...

Ever have an optical migraine? Scary stuff.. I had a section (oval shaped) of complete blackness in my right eye... I thought I was having an aneurysm or something the day that happened... I never heard of it before, until then. Hadn't had one of those since and damn glad too.

Enjoy the evening.. :hi:

26. I've never had an optical migraine
I have broken blood vessels in my eye though and get very sick with the one sided (in the eye) migraine pain.

I was in the ER a few nights ago. Sometimes they just get so bad and with vomiting home treatment is impossible.

I get the allergy/sinus thing too. Santa Ana conditions (very dry and windy) always make me sick. I usually take sudafed, phenergan and a pain killer along with some caffeine to try to halt the attack although it doesn't usually do much if I can even keep the pills down. I feel lucky if I can fall asleep in between throwing up and if it last less then 2 days it's a miracle.

I feel like I'm going to have a stroke one of these days. Doesn't seem possible to keep living through so much pain.

I hope you're feeling better and enjoy the evening too.

27. gees... you've got it to tenth degree!
I feel silly complaining about one that lasted for the day, even though they come a couple of days in a row, and then ALWAYs during my cycle (peri menopausal)....

I'm so sorry you are going through this. Have you tried Immitrex? (sp?)

When my son was 7, he had juvenile cluster migraines.. He'd be in the fetal position screaming until the pain wore him out.. they did give him Codeine elixir and then he lay listless, cold and clammy. Thank God he out grew them in a matter of a month or two... now my youngest gets them more frequently, but mostly treatable with Advil and a dark room (and they aren't cluster).

We should start a migraine group... seems so many people suffer from these and they are quite debilitating.. support is sometimes such a comfort. I never really talked with anyone about them, it helps... hope it helped you.

:pals: back at ya!

28. Have you tried magnesium supplements?
I take magnesium for heart palpitations and it has made a world of difference. I understand that many people swear by it for the relief of migraines as well. The supplements are very inexpensive and available at any drugstore, and there are no side effects other than loose stools if the dosage is too high.

Vice President Gore is one of two politican alive in this country I will stand and cheer regardless of the scenario. Al Gore and the man who was President while Al was Vice President.
Look at the current occupant of the White House and ponder how far the country has fallen. Sweet fuckin' Jesus!
