Standing up to do WHAT?!
We’ve spent the last several years watching the dismantling of our belief in our processes of governance. We’ve borne astonished witness to multiple constitutional blasphemies. We have cringed and winced as the world first laughed at us, then sneered in disgust. We have listened as our alleged leaders have fabricated evidence, repeated proven lies and sought to manipulate us through fear. We have wept over our dead and wounded while those who put them in harm’s way continue to grow richer by that squandering of lives. We have grown accustomed to the weary disbelief each time a subpoena is ignored. We have become sickened by over-exposure to the posturing arrogance that slaps us across the face and then mocks us for not doing anything about it.

But, wait. Something has finally stirred! They’re standing up! They’re asking questions! They’re finally finally investigating in an effort to preserve, protect and defend

BASEBALL.

We can but surmise about the level of trembling cowardice at which the thought occurred to them that We the People would be impressed by such perversion of first allegiance.
