Would McCain be electable if that happened?

Or is the idea to provoke the Huckster into breaking ranks so they can permanently marginalize him?

Whaddya think, campers?

3. I don't think the Huckster has that kind of money support.
I think he will be a thorn in Old Man Cain's side until Cain shores up enough delegates.

Right now, Huckster is just draining Cain's campaign money and dividing their party. I think he's playing redneck-ball: He's going to hang around until Cain gives in, or can afford to ignore him.

4. I'm no expert but...
I would have to guess that this would be take a significant number of voters from McCain more so than Green party effects on the Democratic Party in past Nader runs. Whether or not Huck sees this as an actual option though is difficult to see.

6. No way, Huckleberry is true GOP. The RWers are playing
games right now seeing if they can make McCain bend to all their
whims.

Gay Bauer Head of one the CC endorsed him today--a big get
Jeb Bush endorsed him today--a bigger get. Jeb is a favorite
among the RWers.

8. Never. He is an rpig the whole way and will fall in line. His staying for now is
to represent the gay-bashing "Christians" and to carry some delegates to the convention to demand forced prayer and teaching creationism and eliminating science in schools and to make sure they have a strong effort to express their intolerance toward all people not white and "Christian".
