I keep hearing Huck's stump speech about his door nailed shut

He speaks about as Lt Governor of Arkansas, how when he showed up, the door to his office was "nailed shut from the inside".

Now so far, that sounds like a pretty funny, though somewhat malicious prank.
Then he continues: "It was nailed shut by the Democrats who left the office".

It sounds even funnier now.
But then he goes on: "It remained nailed shut for the first 59 days of my term"

Two months !?!?

Is this guy really running on a platform of "getting things done in Washington"?
I mean, if he can't figure out how to pry open a door, how can he be expected to solve complex and difficult problems associated with the highest office?

When he finally found his way in, was the Democrat who "nailed it shut from the inside" still there? Was it Morris Muntz: HA-HA!

If he answers the door at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, and finds the House Dems left a burning bag on the stoop, would he reflexively stomp it out?
Would he answer the red phone and run to the kitchen because Putin "wants to know if his refrigerator is running".

Am I missing something here?

2. I Happened To Catch A Small Part Of That Speech

and had to laugh. I didn't even understand the point of it. It was poor Huckabee knows what it is like to be hurt. He was locked out of his office. People refused to shake his hand because he was a Conservative. Poor poor pitiful Huckabee!

I wonder how many times in the two months he returned to that door, tried it and said: "Nope, the doorknob still doesn't work", "I guess I'll go home because nothing can be done about it".

5. Huck is one scary dude. He kept his son out of trouble after he killed an innocent stray dog

at a camp, for God's sake. My son would have been in so much trouble from me that the law would have looked good to him, not that my son would have ever considered anything so gross. My son is a gentleman and a gentle man. There is something really sick about a kid that would do such an outrageous thing and a parent that would cover it up or sanction it. It is on a level with a Mormon who will tie his family pet to the top of a car for a twelve hour drive to and from a vacation. What is with these losers the GOPers keep finding to run for office? And McCain has a lot of skeletons rummaging around in his closet...you know, the illegal kind. They will be emerging soon.
