4. That's The Only Card They Can Play

The tables have turned in the past 4 years. In '04, our big and only issue was Iraq...while the GOOP ran on wedge issues, terror and the economic deck of cards they had created. The corporate media all but echoed every Rove meme without question and those who did question were eaten alive. The "success" (translation: corruption) has come home to roost as the party has fractured and McCain has precious little common ground with his base...the only one that he and his surrogate think will scare enough people to the polls in November...terror, terror, terror.

I expect the rhetoric will get shriller and shriller as the GOOP's situation continues to deteriorate.
