anymore?

I guess for one reason, we don't make anything for mass consumption here by a non-union workforce.

And a second reason would have to be that labor has been undergoing attacks since the 60's by the same people that will say Exxons record profits are good for all americans and that the practice of paying CEOs tens of millions of dollars a year is cool as well.

Unchecked capitalism is just another way of introducing fascism.

Ever wonder why all the onus for the immigration "problem" is put on the immigrant rather than Tyson or the other companies that basically serve as coyotes?

During the Reagan era.

The rift is just too great between the Haves and the Have-Nots.

4. It's up to us to educate. Remind people that the illegal immigration
problem comes down to the law of supply and demand. As long as there is a demand, there will be a supply. In this case it is the corrupt businessmen that demand cheap, pliable workers they can exploit. Dry up the demand and you will dry up the supply. Start throwing businessmen in prison for knowingly hiring illegals. That will dry up the demand a bit.

5. I recently wrote my congressman on the subject. He never answered.
It's sad, but the people that keep him in office are the same people that hire the illegals and ship our jobs overseas.
