New Orleans Police Officer Murdered on duty this morning

New Orleans Police Officer Murdered on duty this morning
A 29 year old female New Orleans Police Officer was shot to death by a rape suspect she was trying to arrest.

According to Police Chief Warren Riley, she was trying to handcuff him when he got her gun and shot her several times. There were eyewitnesses. The alleged shooter is under arrest.

5. According to the article the guy was twice her size and they struggled for 7 minutes...
and no one stepped in to help.

I think that speaks volumes towards the split between the public and law enforcement in this country.
