Given the fact that global temperature changes 'might' be happening,

inquiring minds want to know. I have on 4 layers of clothes in TX; we do have the heat on but go outside to smoke occasionally. The high here today was between 40-45 degrees F, rainy, and that's cold here. :scared: I already know I'm a wuss, so lay it on me. How bad has it been for you?

1. I remember a few years back

I was at the Western Washington fair and the temp was in the high fifties. I was walking around in a tee-shirt and one of the vendors, a young woman from Texas, seemed shocked that so many people were. I said that in mid-to-late September, the high fifties wasn't all that cold. LOL

It seems pretty obvious the weather is changing, though it doesn't seem like it's "warming" a whole lot.

4. We had snow for the first time in 80 years!

3. Wait until tomorrow. 60s and by Sunday, 70s.

It's Texas. We have all kinds of temp changes. Especially in winter.

I'm planning on grilling hamburgers outside in shorts and a T-shirt on Sunday or Monday.

I have to admit, that we get acclimated to warmer temps and can't stand the cold much. When I go back to Nebraska, it about kills me it's so cold.

I'd rather suffer the HOT than the COLD.

Right now it's 17 in Omaha (where I used to live.) I wouldn't trade it for a moment.

I'll suffer through 90s and 100s in the summer. But, yep, our blood is thinner now.

5. Indiana here...

Today it was 25 and last night it was 9. last week it has managed to get down to to-21 with wind chill.

There is an island around 900 miles south west of Hawaii. In a matter of 10 years or so, it will be swallowed up by the rising see level due to global warming.

9. My parsley and chives were still growing on Christmas

here in east Tennessee. That never use to happen, any living plants would be killed off by the freeze before Christmas. Now it is the middle of January before all my plants die off. But it has been very cold here lately with a lot of precipitation. I hope we don't get another drought this summer.

Certainly not in Europe. No snow cover on the ground in Germany and Poland, and very little in the Ukraine, mostly in the east.
