Mitt Romney is being touted as the candidate with BUSINESS skills. Excuse me...
...but isn't having a president who promised to "RUN THE COUNTRY LIKE A BUSINESS" a large part of what got us into this mess?

Americans have the attention span of a grapefruit.

2. Didn't he used to buy distressed companies, gut them and shut their doors?
Bushies will think that he's "just the man for the job". . .

3. His only skill is to fire people
plus he didn't do any of this. He is just a suit pulling in bucks for the actual operators doing THEIR job.

4. Did Chimpy run the country like he ran his other businesses?
That would explain why we're filing for Chapter 11.

5. Business skills? Business skills?
Just look at how much money Mitten's campaign has wasted.
The last thing this country needs is someone with HIS business skills.
Whatta disaster.

7. he IS gonna ruin (I mean run) the US like a business
He'll buy low, mess with the numbers, falsely inflate the bottom line, ship jobs overseas, lay off millions, slash benefits, pollute the environment, give the CEO's millions of dollars annualy when the business is sinking, then bail on US right before we go belly up and have to shut the doors.

11. The country isn't a business. It's a country.
In a business, only the owners have any say how it works. In a republic, everyone is supposed to have a say.

13. Exactly and thank you.
That "business experience" phrase is often bandied about by candidates at all political levels. It should never be a factor because, as you stated, the government is not a business and should not be run as one.
