The crowd sings before a Celtic v Liverpool match.
80,000 people people united.
Powerful.

If this passion can go into Soccer, why can't it go into Peace.

1. Because they don't serve beer at peace rallies? /nt
Actually, this kind of thing scares me. Reminds me of a Nuremberg rally.

4. Even with no political content
it reminds you of a Nuremberg rally? I'd love to hear your recollections of the Nuremberg Rallies.

As with most impatient people, you didn't read as far as my last line. 'If this passion can go into Soccer, why can't it go into Peace.'

5. I read it.
I guess it's just me, but whenever a huge crowd of people chant or sing in unison, I get scared. It's a lot of power, but with no organized mind. Remember, some of these games end with mass rioting.

I guess I shouldn't rain on your parade, though.

7. What's my parade got to do with anything?
In fact, what is my parade?

You can ignore the factors that make people operate with a mass mentality, or you can study them and ask why. No probs for you tho, you dont like this stuff so your ears are blocked.

Time to grow up and accept that thing happen in the world over which you have no control and the next best thing to do is inform yourself and be prepared. Like a good little boy scout.

8. Whatever, pal.
You seem pretty fucking hostile for someone who's so into peace. Have a nice day, chief.

3. If neither of ya have the insight to look beneath
the obvious, you are allowed to leave right now.

And it goes without saying that neither of ya got as far as my line wondering why the same passion could not be extended to the peace movement. What power is available, how badly it is utilized.

6. ffs of course i am aware of the history of mass violence
Open you eyes and see the possibility for peace.

Don't even mention 'every person is individual'. Change is effected on a grand scale. Why are you so defensive about watching a vid and analysing the reasons for it's power?
