Specter Suggests that the Federal Government be substituted for the Telecoms
In whatever lawsuit might come out of the illegal surveillance they have assisted with Specter suggests that the Federal Government be substituted as the defendant. That way the suits go forward. What do you think?

No immunity.

3. No--because the government will say, we make the laws, we've decided it's legal--
and that's that. Corporations should never be allowed to collaborate with the government against American citizens--let the courts decide on their guilt or innocence.

7. People, I give you: The Master
Founder of the Arlen Specter School of Political Grandstanding, the man, the legend, the Senator: Arlen Specter. From his brash debut as the founder of the Magic Bullet that inflicted no less than three wounds during the Kennedy assassination, to a long and jaw-dropping career of saying one thing while doing another, the senior Senator from Pennsylvania shows that he still has what it takes to toady for Republican law-breaking.

Put your hands together, and give him both bird barrels!
