At first you showed up as "ignored"... now I can see you. Wonder what kind of bug that is. One of the reasons I have you on ignore is that you seem to constantly accuse me of being someone who (apparently) got tombstoned long ago. I don't get it. Wish you'd give it a rest.

2. the one about driving the election from DU

I concur because it amazes me too how many people here seem to think that DU is some kind of player in the Democratic party and its politics and influences elections. If that were true popular DU candidates like Howard Dean, Dennis Kucinich, Wes Clark and John Edwards would have done better. The site claims over 100,000 members but I would say there are only a few hundred who are active posters.

3. I have to differ with you on the number of active posters...

'cause just a couple of weeks ago I was able to compile a list of 1,000 members who had, at some point over a week-long period, posted their current favorite candidate. And I know there were many that I missed or who had posted other things besides what candidate they liked. So there's probably a good 3,000-4,000 active posters right now, I'd say.

21. Wow. That was weird.. I think what really makes it exceptional is that

the person never posted another thing on DU after that. After 945 posts. We may never know what happened to them... kind of a Jimmy Hoffa-style disappearance.

Too bad he DIDN'T have his camera charged cause maybe they came back for him. Or her. Didn't declare a gender, which just adds to the mystery.
