Hence, the preparatory "threats" about him possibly switching parties.

He's going to do it anyway and if there's anything on earth that will further sink McCain's chances at the White House, it would be for him to have this old windbag and egomaniac as his VP choice.

McCain / Lieberman 2008. Wow! Talk about a losing ticket. Even Hillary could beat that one.

1. A Looney and a.... Well, another Looney.
You could also phrase it as a Flip-flopper and a... Well, another Flip-flopper.

Or any number of similar negative characterizations.

Regardless, we'd have ticket which would be entirely beholden to religious fundementalists. McCain because he's owned by them, Lieberman because he is one.

2. greedy for power
Lieberman is a narcissistic SOB! He just wants to be President. He doesn't care if he has to be a candidate for the 'chopped liver' party. He is like shrub in this matter. He does not care who he has to step on or who has to 'die for a lie' to get to that political office.

3. And if it comes to fruition, and they miraculously win...
there would be only a handful of election fraud doubters left at that point. :tinfoilhat:
