What's wrong with Bush's eye?
Edited on Thu Jan-10-08 05:01 PM by spotbird

It's pronounced in this picture.

Less noticeable here.

Now, I know we lived in an era of controlled media, but this is so obvious that they should at least offer a cover story.

3. Pics need to be uploaded to something like Photobucket.
Hotlinks to pics are frowned upon.

10. Here you go...
Do not steal someone else's bandwidth by posting images that are hosted on another website. Democratic Underground is a high-traffic website, so posting images from other sites will cause their server load to increase dramatically, and might even cost the website owner money. If you wish to post an image from another website, you must contact the owner of the other website to get their consent.

12. The HTML lookup table
should be edited to include that admonition. It's easy to think it's acceptable when instructions are so readily available.

I was notified of this when the dreaded red "X" kept appearing and another member advised me. Just thought it might prevent future problems with faulty links.

31. I've been here for years and never knew that particular rule.
Like probably a lot of others here, I haven't read ALL of the DU rules page.
I've been hotlinking photos on other sites the whole time.

I too got instructions for posting pics from the HTML table and didn't think anything about what I was doing.

I guess you really do learn something new every day.

Edited on Thu Jan-10-08 04:57 PM by pitohui
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korsakoff's_syndrome

cause is alcoholism and i suppose in his particular case the drug use as well

i would assume that he's receiving treatment to stop the progression but maybe it's too late for the vitamin to help

(assuming you are talking about dubya rather than poppy, i couldn't see the photos either)

Very similar to the statement on Bhutto's assassination. Recorded, read, quick departure, lots of shutterbuggery.

25. Jerusalem (lyrics by Steve Earle)
Edited on Thu Jan-10-08 06:14 PM by SpiralHawk

Artist: Earle Steve
Song: Jerusalem

I woke up this mornin' and none of the news was good
And death machines were rumblin' 'cross the ground where Jesus stood
And the man on my TV told me that it had always been that way
And there was nothin' anyone could do or say

And I almost listened to him
Yeah, I almost lost my mind
Then I regained my senses again
And looked into my heart to find

That I believe that one fine day all the children of Abraham
Will lay down their swords forever in Jerusalem

(snip)...

. . . to take one picture and copy each half of the face onto a third picture. You get an interesting and disturbing view:

Right side:

Left Side:

On edit: No matter what side you look at, the dude is fugly.

22. You really can't tell it in this pic, but I watched his presser yesterday
and you could distinctly see his left eye nearly closed. He looked "wierder" than usual, more disjointed, and his speech was even more broken and nonsensical than it usually is. I was surprised not to see any commentary at all on his appearance. As a nurse, it was kind of obvious something was more off than usual with him.

That's my guess.

This symptom has appeared and reappeared.

He is on some kind of weird drug cocktails, like Elvis, because he has a lots of issues -some neurological, some emotional and some alcohol-induced IMHO.
