This flipflop on what did the preznut know and when did he not give a shit

is a prime example of the fact that facts - truth - mean NOTHING to these people.

something happens, and they say "let's see, what words should we put together to enhance our image and further our agenda? Then they write them all down on note cards and go forth to recite them. how those words relate to actual facts is never even considered

This is a case where they barged ahead with "of course he knew" to try to make themselves look all-knowing, and forgot the fact it would make them look incredibly incompetant and insensitive

so they said "oops" and changed it to "he didn't know" - and guess what? it makes them look incredibly incompetant and insensitive anyway.

it does not occur to them to say "we f**ed up; heads will roll, this will never happen again to our brave heros" because, back to principle #1, that might not enhance their image, since they have decided the image should be infallibility.

chimpy's oft-repeated smirking line w/respect to Iran and weapons should be thrown in his smirking face. "which is worse? that he knew and did nothing, or that he didn't know?"

to quote an old song, "nothing from nothing leaves nothing" - and that is this crowd's credibility.

a whiner. They are all over the map on this one, throwing everything they can at the walls to see what sticks. Snow figured that Bush had been to Walter Reed too many times to deny that he knew anything. Shows you what an amateur he is compared to the rest of them who have been honing the spin for years and years. Some of them like Hannity are smart enough to not even bring this up. The dumb ones like Malkin just keep shoving their foot in their mouths. First she say's that she reported on bad conditions at VA hospitals years ago. I guess it wasn't important enough to stay on the story till something was done. Then she tried to get in her shot at Democrats by saying "is their outrage going to last longer that it takes to embarrass their opponents. In other words are they going to be as awful as me and just drop the story? Uh.. No Michelle we are going to keep the pressure on until this is fixed, because even though I don't have a red, white and blue ribbon on my car, I care more about the troops than you ever did.

edit for speeling
